APPLEBEE'S has delighted diners with the reintroduction of a beloved $1 cocktail.
Fans say their "prayers have been heard" – and the beverage arrives just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
Applebee's has announced that the Dollarita is back on the menu as of May 1.
The casual dining chain's $1 take on the classic margarita has not been available since 2023.
For no more than $1, customers can enjoy the cooling flavors of tequila, triple sec, and lime, shaken and served over ice.
The Mexican-inspired beverage arrives just in time for Cinco de Mayo, celebrated May 5.
What's more, customers can also opt for the deluxe-edition, strawberry or mango remix Dollaritas, which are both priced at $1.50.
Applebee's fans have shared their excitement about the return of the Dollarita on social media.
"Our prayers have been heard!!!" wrote one on Instagram.
One posted on X: "Will be sure to wear my Dollarita shirt!"
"Sounds like a great time," agreed another.
To wash down those Dollaritas, Applebee's has also added new chicken and bacon loaded fries to the menu.
SHAKING THINGS UP
Applebee's is not the only chain restaurant with a new cocktail on offer.
Last month, Chili's put its unique twist on the beloved espresso martini.
Instead of the usual vodka, the restaurant is making its espresso martinis with Reposado tequila.
Meanwhile, those who prefer a regular margarita can add one to select meals for just $3.49.
AT-HOME BEVERAGES
Meanwhile, those who prefer to drink at home also have two new exciting options.
Both Jack Daniel's and Jim Bean have launched new ready-to-drink canned beverages for the summer.
Jack Daniel's hard tea is available in four flavors – original, peach, raspberry, and blackberry.
Jim Bean's line-up of Kentucky Coolers can be found in peach, orange, blueberry. strawberry.
