A Texas father has been acquitted in the starvation death of his four-year-old son despite horrifying videos showing the boy with protruding bones begging for food. Brandon Cervera, 31, sobbed as the jury returned a not guilty verdict for the crime of injury to a child with serious bodily injury in the 2021 death of his son Benjamin, reported KSAT. Cervera took Benjamin to the emergency room in August 2021.
