JK Rowling has spoken out in support of Donald Trump's crackdown on transgender and gender identity rights following his return to the White House. The Harry Potter author claimed 'the Left' had overseen a 'calamity' with their 'embrace of gender identity ideology' as she backed the US President's action. Following his inauguration yesterday, Mr Trump signed a flurry of executive orders including the pardoning of US Capitol rioters and exiting the Paris climate agreement.
