Key Points

  • The photos came just one day after reports that Hewitt and Davidson have called it quits.

  • "I'm doing it on my own, which is hard," said the actress of her parenting.

Elsie Hewitt has opened up about being a mother in the public eye, days after reports that she has split fromPete Davidson.

Over the weekend, the model and actress — whowelcomed a daughter with the comedian in December— was photographed pushing a stroller through New York City. The snaps, published by outlets such asTMZ, arrived one day after news dropped that Hewitt and Davidson had gone their separate ways.

On Saturday, Hewitt, 30, addressed the photos with a briefTikTokvideo, defending herself amid critical commentary.

"Yeah, yeah. I know. I'm exhausted, okay?," Hewitt said of her appearance in the pictures. "After I left the house looking like it yesterday, I should've known that was gonna happen. But that's not what I'm thinking about right now."

Hewitt shared that her appearance in paparazzi photos is the last thing on her mind right now, explaining, "I have a baby to take care of and I also have to work and make money."

Her voice cracked with emotion as she continued, "I'm doing it on my own which is hard."

She concluded with another reference to negative comments about her appearance, adding, "Noted. Next time, I will try to look nicer when I go, paparazzi, on a walk with my daughter."

The same day as her video, Hewitt took to her Instagram Story to announce that she is looking to hire someone to help out with childcare.

"I’m currently trying to find an assistant / mother’s helper / nanny type / basically [a] right hand person," Hewitt, 30 wrote in a now-expiredInstagram StoryperUs Weekly.

She then cautioned interested parties that they would have to be approved, and meet certain criteria before she would even consider them for the job.

"Apply here if qualified and serious," she continued. "Only looking @ responses with resumes. ($ of course.)"

On Friday, a source confirmed Davidson and Hewitt's split toPEOPLE, noting that the couple are "working on things" and "want one another to succeed and be happy."

"There have been points where they've split and have gotten back together," the source told PEOPLE, but added that it's unclear if they'll reconcile again.

That December, the pair welcomed Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, who was named for Davidson's father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died while responding to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Since welcoming scottie, the couple have been careful to avoid sharing photographs including her face. But that has not stopped them from documenting  glimpses of her life on social media. On March 6, Hewitt celebrated Scottieturning 12 weeks oldby sharing an anecdote from the day she was born.

"On the way to the hospital we wrote down our predictions for what time she'd be born," Hewitt shared. “My guess was 3:05pm (my birthday, 03/05). after 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived. how crazy and cool is that."

2 Steelers appear in 2026 NFLPA Rookie Premiere class photo

ThePittsburgh Steelerswere just represented by two of their promising rookies —Germie BernardandDrew Allar— in the NFLPA's Rookie Premiere class photo.

USA TODAY

The NFLPA released the 2026 Rookie Premiere class photo on Tuesday, with Bernard spotted in the second row, second from the right, while Allar can be seen on the far left in the back row.

Bernard, selected by theSteelerswith the 47th overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, is a talented and versatile receiver who can line up all over the offense, including out wide, in the slot, and in the backfield.

Allar, who was selected by the Steelers with the 76th overall pick in the draft, is considered by many to have ridiculous upside off his physical traits alone, but his development will be a major undertaking if Pittsburgh hopes he'll emerge as a potential starter.

While the Steelers will get far more use out of Bernard than Allar early in 2026, these two rookies could emerge as staples of Pittsburgh sports for years to come.

'SNL' nixed Hegseth 'Pulp Fiction' riff as 'too ridiculous,' Jost says

Truth can be stranger than"Pulp Fiction,"says"Saturday Night Live"comedian and writerColin Jost.

USA TODAY

During a May 14 interview on"The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon,"Jost told the late-night host how the 'SNL' writers had been discussing possibilities for Hegseth sketches two months ago. "I was like, 'would it be funny if Hegseth just did that Bible verse that they have in "Pulp Fiction"?'" Jost said.

But the writers nixed the idea. "We talked about it and we're like that would be too ridiculous," Jost said. "And then he, for real, did it like two weeks later."

After Jost and Fallon laugh about it, Jost said, "I was like, 'Well, the good news is I'm being surveilled.'"

Colin Jost says its 'crazy'Pete Hegsethquoted 'Pulp Fiction'

During an April 15 Pentagon worship service,Hegseth recounted a prayerhe said had been told to him by an Air Force rescue operation leader. While Hegseth's prayer echoed scripture, specificallyEzekiel 25:17, part of it appeared to paraphrase a linebetter known for "Pulp Fiction"than from the Bible.

In the film, Samuel L. Jackson's characterciteda fictionalized Ezekiel 25:17 verse including the phrase, "And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

When Jost heard about the April 15 incident, "it was crazy," he said.

On the May 9 "SNL" episode, Jost's Hegseth bumps into Supreme Court Justice Brett Cavanaugh (Matt Damon) and FBI directorKash Patel(Aziz Ansari) at a bar. "It's very intimidating to have to go out and act next to Matt Damon," he said. "In 'SNL,' you just have to pretend you can hang."

Key FSU running back target commits to SEC program

TheFlorida State Seminoleshave missed on another key running back target, with four-star prospect Brayden Tyson committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks on Friday.

USA TODAY

FSU was a finalist for Tyson, who was also considering the Miami Hurricanes, Purdue Boilermakers, and Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He visited FSU three times this year before committing to South Carolina, attending a Junior Day event in March and multiple spring practices.

Tyson is ranked as the No. 357 overall player and No. 23 athlete in the 247Sports composite. The Snellville product is also the No. 38 player from Georgia.

He had a strong junior season at Brockwood High School, rushing for 1,292 yards and 16 touchdowns on 163 carries. While it was a great performance, it had nothing on his sophomore campaign. He finished his breakout season with 2,123 yards and 26 touchdowns, averaging 10.2 yards per carry.

Tyson is the latest running back target that the Seminoles have missed out on, with Ty Keys committing to Miami and Gary Walker trending towards theClemson Tigers. While they can flip Keys or Tyson and Walker's recruitment is far from over, two of their top uncommitted targets are Jayden Miles and Marquis Fennell.
