The Minnesota Vikings introduced a new way to defend the Philadelphia Eagles' seemingly unstoppable "Tush Push" play when the two teams faced off in Week 7.
When the Eagles lined up to attempt the Tush Push in the first half, Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores had one of his defenders lie down on the ground directly in front of Philadelphia center Cam Jurgens.
The goal? It was likely to establish Tyler Batty as the "low man" at the line of scrimmage, which would, in theory, make it harder for Jurgens and Jalen Hurts to power through the middle of the Vikings' defense.
Below is a look at how the Vikings' new strategy looked during game-action.
