During an interview with BBC Radio 1 on Friday, Oct. 3, the 35-year-old pop superstar opened up about playing her new record, The Life of a Showgirl, for Travis Kelce and his reaction.

"I would play it for him as soon as I would come back from Sweden," Swift told Greg James of working with Swedish producers Max Martin and Shellback. "As soon as I got back I would play it. I knew that this was the kind of album that he was going to love the most, he's so supportive of all it, but he's a real vibes guy."

Her appearance coincided with the release of her hotly anticipated 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl.

The "Shake It Off" singer first announced her new release at 12:12 am on Aug. 12 with Swift teasing, "Can I show you something?" in a video clip shared on Instagram.

"This represents the end of my night," she explained to Travis and Jason. "My show days are the same every single day; I just have a different city. And my day ends with me in a bathtub," although she conceded she didn't generally wear a "bedazzled dress" in the tub!

As for the album itself, the musician shared that it is about "the life beyond the show," and "everything that was going on behind the curtain."

The "Champagne Problems" hitmaker went on to note that she wrote the album while on the road for her Eras Tour and would frequently return to Sweden to work with collaborators Max Martin and Shellback during her tour's European stint.
