Broadway actress-turned pop star Reneé Rapp brought her girlfriend of nearly two years, Towa Bird, on stage for her final song of the night at her Los Angeles concert on Oct. 18.
INGLEWOOD, California — Reneé Rapp's surprise for her Los Angeles crowd was just as much a treat for fans as it was for herself.
At her Kia Forum Bite Me Tour show on Oct. 17, Rapp's girlfriend of nearly two years, fellow singer/songwriter Towa Bird, popped in for the last song of the night with a cheeky "How you doing, LA?" directed at the stage camera.
The two briefly sang the lyrics for Rapp's "At Least I'm Hot" to each other before Rapp carried through the chorus and, finally, summoned her pinstripe blazer-wearing partner – and former tour opener – up from the barricade to the stage.
"OK, get my shorty up here," the 25-year-old instructed as Towa immediately bounded up on stage.
Rapp planted a big smooch on Towa's cheek, and the two joined the band for the bridge. As she sang "But if I can't be happy, then at least I'm hot," Rapp's euphoric smile left no doubt that she had both happiness and hotness on lock.
Reneé Rapp brings out Leon Thomas for a 'Mutt' duet
Rapp, a "Sex Lives of College Girls" alum and "Mean Girls" star on both the stage and the screen, delivered not one, but two surprise musical guests in the city she now calls "home."
As she delved into the last few songs on her set list, Rapp brought out Leon Thomas, with the two performing a duet of his hit single "Mutt" just weeks before the Grammy winner's slated to head out on his Mutts Don't Heel World Tour.

Afterward, Rapp explained she'd just "selfishly" wanted to hear Thomas, who similarly shares a background as a performer on both the stage and screen, perform.
Another person in attendance at the Forum on this night also earned Rapp's personal commentary, albeit one that came with more of her signature bite.
"My dad's here," she announced while introducing the 90-minute show. "I don't really know what that says about him."
'I don't want to play "Not My Fault" '
You can take the woman off of Broadway, but you can't take Broadway out of the woman.
Rapp, who at 19 led the "Mean Girls" musical production as Regina George, included several nods to her theater kid roots with red velvet curtains and the occasional dramatic flair.
She broke away for a dance number while performing "Why Is She Still Here?" and lay back atop a grand piano to perform "Poison Poison" as her blonde hair artistically splayed across the lacquer.
The 20 songs on her set list ranged from her favorites – including the one that made her fall in love with making music ("In the Kitchen") – from her EP and albums "Snow Angel" and "Bite Me" to one she would prefer to not perform live, thank you very much.
She briefly teased fans with a minute of "Not My Fault," from the 2024 "Mean Girls" remake, before she dropped a record scratch. But an imperfect one, because though she might be an experienced actress, Rapp is also someone who can't be anything but brutally honest.
"This bit gets harder and harder with every show. OK, let me lock in," she said before launching into her script that would bring her to her actual closing song, "At Least I'm Hot."
"I quit. I know, I'm just as shocked as you are," she said. "God forbid I don't want to play 'Not My Fault.'"
