Carmen Electra proved that true icons never fade; they only get better with time.

In her latest Instagram post, the Baywatch star stepped into her own version of Barbarella, the legendary role made famous by Jane Fonda in the late '60s.

With a fresh twist, she wore a silver-laced corset bodysuit, highlighting her figure at 53.

Electra completed the look with a silver snake cuff choker, her signature bold eye makeup and tousled hair for a striking finish.

"Barbarella 2.0," she wrote, leaving fans swooning over her head-turning style.

The comment section was flooded with admiration, including nods to Fonda.

"Oh yes !!! Barbarella 2.0!!! You look so incredibly beautiful, Carmen !!! I love your outfit!!! You nailed it !!!" one wrote.

"Jane Fonda will be proud," a commenter said.

"Jane never looked that Good," a third social media user said.

"The sexiest Barbarella I've ever seen!" another added.

Others also commented on Electra's youthful beauty, noting that she still looked like the '90s bombshell that she is.

"Still sexiest woman alive!" a follower remarked.

"Jeeezus!!! The Queen still has it going on!!" a fan mentioned.

The same goes for another who said, "How the hell do you look like you're getting younger or not aging?? You look just as good, if not better, now."

"This is 53! Wow!" a commenter wrote.

Barbarella, considered one of the cult classic films, released in 1968, is a trippy sci-fi erotic masterpiece.

Then 30-year-old Fonda showcased a sexy yet playful take on the character, portraying the "astronautical aviatrix" and "Queen of the Galaxy."

Jane Fonda's Legendary Barbarella Returns in a New Remake

Decades later, the movie is set for a remake starring Sydney Sweeney and directed by Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver and Last Night in Soho.

However, amid reports of setbacks, the production briefly paused, yet the Euphoria star confirmed that work on the project was still ongoing.

"I was just in London and had a meeting to discuss the story and the script," she mentioned in a statement as cited by Collider, adding, "I can't say too much, but it's really going to come together in a very, very fun and big way. It's a long process. I don't think people realise how long some things can take, but it's gonna be worth the wait."

As the remake takes shape, fans can expect a galaxy of glamour, adventure, and timeless style.
