As one might expect, defenses mostly held the upper hand in the opening week of the 2025 NFL season.
Point totals generally fell on the low side as several offenses sputtered. However, only one team actually turned the advantage into points on the scoreboard -- the Chicago Bears, who got an interception return for a touchdown from cornerback Nahshon Wright.
In terms of fantasy football scoring, the Denver Broncos, the consensus No. 1 D/ST unit, led the way in Week 1 with six sacks and a pair of fumble recoveries. How do things stack up this week?
