Renowned physicist Albert Einstein's letter urging President Franklin D. Roosevelt to develop the world's first atomic bomb could fetch $4 million at auction. The two-page letter, written in 1939, called for 'quick action' for the US to set up a nuclear program, warning that Nazi Germany could already have the capabilities. 'It is conceivable - though much less certain - that extremely powerful bombs of a new type may thus be constructed,' the letter said.
