Jan Ravnik is trading in stadium spotlights for sequins.
Taylor Swift's fan favorite Eras Tour dancer is joining "Dancing With the Stars" as a pro, "DWTS" alum and "GMA" meteorologist Sam Champion announced during an Aug. 28 episode of "Good Morning America."
"I traveled all around the world with the Eras Tour and now I'm coming to the ballroom stage with 'Dancing With the Stars,'" Ravnik told fans. "Mirrorball never goes out of style, and we are ready to win it."
The buzzy on-air news comes two days after Swift announced her engagement to two-time Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Ravnik is the first pro dancer to be announced ahead of "DWTS" Season 34.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce are engaged. Here's everything we know.
The performer has already danced alongside icons like Jennifer Lopez and Cher, but it was his smoldering presence on Swift's record-breaking tour that made him a fan favorite.
Swifties may remember Ravnik as the ripped dancer who went viral for his sexy dancing with a ladder during the Eras Tour song "Lavender Haze." His six pack and smile made him instantly recognizable even amid Swift's massive production.
Taylor Swift performs on stage during the "Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour" at Wembley Stadium on June 21, 2024 in London, England.
On Dec. 12, as the Eras Tour ended, Ravnik wrote on social media that "I still can't find the words to fully describe what I'm feeling. It's like there's this weight in my chest, a mix of gratitude, love and sadness, because saying 'thank you' just doesn't seem enough," writing "thank you @taylorswift for changing my life!!"
In recent years, "DWTS" has introduced a pair of new pro dancers who appeal to Gen Z. In Season 32, Rylee Arnold (the younger sister of "DWTS" royalty Lindsay Arnold) joined the cast in 2023, followed by Ezra Sosa – the series' first Latin dance pro in over a decade – last year for Season 33.
The upcoming star-studded cast includes social media sensation Alix Earle, conservationist Steve Irwin's son Robert Irwin (brother of former "DWTS" fan favorite Bindi Irwin) and a pair of "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" stars – Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck. Many "Mormon Wives" cast members auditioned for "DWTS" − but most didn't make the cut.
The rest of the cast will be announced early next month, just before the new season premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
