Tasha Ghouri has admitted that she is enjoying 'pure silence' as she revealed she has taken her cochlear implant out after feeling 'exhausted' by lip-reading. The Strictly star, 26, who was born deaf and received her cochlear implant when she was five years old, made history as the first-ever deaf contestant on Love Island in 2022. She now uses her platform to create awareness of the day-to-day challenges faced by people with hearing loss.
